Welcome to Evanston Zoning Matters, a site created and maintained by Evanston citizens concerned about over-development that threatens quality of life and residential neighborhoods. We are not opposed to development, but have serious concerns about several projects currently being proposed. As we gather information, we will post it on this site so all residents will have access to the information.

It is our belief that all citizens and stakeholders in Evanston have the responsibility and the right to guide the direction of future development in Evanston. We also believe that the rule and intent of the zoning ordinances must be followed.
